A roof is one trade out of many. These are the independent DFW businesses we send our own customers to — and would use on our own homes.
We get asked for recommendations constantly — an HVAC company, a plumber, somebody who will actually turn up. This page is our answer, and it is deliberately short.
Nobody pays to be on it. Every name here is a business we have dealt with and would put our own name behind, because that is exactly what a referral does. If a partner stops being someone we would recommend, they come off.
Heating & air conditioning · Grapevine, TX
AC and furnace repair, installation, ductless mini-splits, duct sealing and indoor air quality work across the same towns we cover. If you have ever had a hot upstairs that no amount of thermostat adjustment fixes, the cause is often in the attic — which is also where a tired roof shows up first. They are the people we call.
Serves: Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Coppell, Flower Mound, Roanoke

Last year my own homeowner’s insurance premium jumped from $7,000 to $10,000 — a 43% increase in a single renewal. My carrier knew my roof was eight years old, and that one data point reshaped my bill. That night I started digging.
What I found changed everything. Nearly half of Texas homeowner insurance claims in 2024 were closed without payment. Half of my neighbors who file a claim will get nothing. Roofing decisions in Texas are too often made under pressure — from weather, from insurers, from fear — instead of from clear information. Texas Roof Rescue exists to change that.
I spent a 25-year career in enterprise technology as a database consultant — 250+ SQL Server clusters for a single client, petabytes of data across all of them, and individual databases running to 25 terabytes, for Fortune-class companies, where accuracy and accountability are non-negotiable. I brought that same discipline to roofing. I utilized technology to collect and analyze data — the insurance data, the shingle test data, and the nanotechnology research — and found a product that solves real problems most Texas homeowners had never even heard of.
I didn’t just adopt drone technology — I built the custom DJI Enterprise mapping / 3D-modeling software, and engineered the Roof Hawk™, a purpose-built drone to apply the nanotechnology itself. Every roof we evaluate is captured with drone imagery, scored against objective criteria, and archived in a searchable, audit-ready record. You get evidence-based recommendations instead of guesswork — and documentation your insurance carrier will respect.
I’m also your neighbor. I’ve lived in Southlake for 13 years, raising my family in the same community I serve. I’m still going to see you at Central Market, at the soccer field, and at the school pickup line — that accountability is built into how we work.
Your roof doesn’t have to be replaced just because it’s aging. Most roofs have functional life left — and protecting that life is almost always smarter than tearing it off. This is your starting point.
